To Our Family & Friends, 

Thank you all for making the trip to come celebrate our special weekend with us in Charleston, SC.  It means the world to have you present as we become husband and wife in one of our favorite places; the city where romance, history, and Southern hospitality all meet. We fell in love with Charleston when we first visited over Lindsay's birthday weekend three years ago and knew it was where we were meant to tie the knot. We are so incredibly excited for everyone to meet one another, experience Charleston Lindsay+Ken style, and dance the night away celebrating with us as Mr. & Mrs. Peters under the Avenue of the Oaks!

Travel

CHARLESTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IS ONLY 15 minutes from THE DOWNTOWN AREA. 

As our wedding is over Labor Day weekend, we recommend to book your flights soon!  Flights to Charleston over holiday weekends fill up quickly and prices increase daily.

If you're a road trip lover like Lindsay and from the Chicagoland area, it's only about a 13.5 hour car ride! 

Transport

No Car Necessary 

This is up to your own discretion, but unless you plan to venture off the peninsula during your visit, you will not need a car. Transportation will be provided the day of the wedding for all guests, and other weekend activities are only a short cab or Uber away within the downtown area. Also, the hotels we recommend below are all right off King Street, within walking distance to the cutest shops, restaurants and bars.

Ground transportation services to and from the airport can also be found here. 

Charleston is a beautiful city on a peninsula, with many islands surrounding the city itself. Should you chose to book accommodations outside of these two hotels, we request you stay near the downtown area if possible for the weekend activities with the bride and groom.
